When Tond (Kelly Hudson), an elderly retiree, wakes up from a minor stroke, he realizes that he doesn't really have any friends anymore. After several unsuccessful attempts to reconnect with his mean old wife, Janice (Beth Grant), Tond turns to song for solace and consolation. This oddball musical comedy set in the drab landscape of suburban North Texas reluctantly reveals the deep isolation inherent in post-retirement blues.
